Software: Play’n Go
Inspired by the golden era of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Play’n GO really makes the grade with their latest release, Banana Rock what you can find at the new casino websites. Led by the fictional Rock and Roll legend, Simeon Chimpsky, Banana Rock band members are once again united and ready to make some noise in front of the live audience for the very last time.
Believe it or not, the original storyline and exceptional visual features are not the strongest points of this slot. The audio is fantastic and every time Simeon lands on the reels, the players will get to hear the first note of his hit song – and you better believe us when we tell you that waiting for the extra matching symbols to land so that you can hear the rest of the song will definitely be worth the wait!
Chimpsky himself is the Rock ‘n’ Rollin’ Wild and the highest paying icon, right next to the Electric Guitar Playing Monkey. The rest of the high-value icons are the Banana Rock band members – The Drummer, Keyboard player, the Cellist, and the Percussionist, each playing their own tune when the symbol combination is formed on the reels.
Every musician’s dream – Gold Record – is the second Wild icon, which appears when the rolling lead singer Chimpsky initiates the Re-spin. Banana Rock icon is the Scatter and the only icon that cannot be replaced by the Wild. Card suits, A, K, Q, and J, are the lowest value icons.
Banana Rock is played on 5 reels, 3 rows, and 10 fixed paylines, with the betting range of $0.10 to $100. For a combination of symbols to generate a payout, at least three matching icons must land on the connecting reels, from the far left to right. The bet amounts are pre-determined and the players will be able to select them from the bar at the bottom of the gaming screen.
To increase the speed of the spins, one can click on the lightning bolt icon in the left, lower corner. Auto Play mode is available as well, and the players will be able to set in motion up to 500 spins, which can be stopped on any win, after a bonus is triggered, or manually. Alternatively, players can select a certain balance/payout amount that, once reached, will halt the auto mode.
Two Rock ‘n’ Rollin’ Wilds anywhere on the reels will start the Rock ‘n’ Rollin’ Re-spin. The leftmost icon will remain in its position, while the Rock ‘n’ Rollin’ Wild on the right will start moving towards the locked icon, producing a trail of Gold Records Wilds.
Two Scatter icons on the 1st and the 5th reel initiate 10 Free Spins. Stacked band members can be formed on the reels during the feature, awarding 1x – x5 multipliers for each of the expanded icon. Every new Scatter that lands on the reels during this bonus will add an extra Free Spin to the total.
At the end of the Free Spins session, players will be rewarded with an Encore spin, which will combine all the previously unlocked multipliers, collected during the bonus rounds, and apply the total to the wins from the Encore spin. While this feature is in progress, only the band members will land on the reels – all other symbols are excluded.
Banana Rock is a medium to high volatility slot which can produce up to x2500 player’s bet. This means that pressing the bets is worth the risk, assuming that your budget can take the potential blow. Encore spin bonus has the higher winning potential, awarding up to x25 multiplier.
Banana Rock is a highly engaging game with great bonuses and excellent music background that will keep you chained to your chair, even while you are impatiently waiting for the Free Spins to activate. Sometimes, it will take ages for the extra rounds to be triggered, and when they finally do, the silver lining is that they are re-triggerable. Re-spins are fairly frequent and, in the end, all the waiting is likely to pay off.
