The latest release from Play’n Go is here! Prissy Princess takes you right into the tower where the princess lives. You’ll get to see just how prissy she actually is in this slot review. In this next episode of online slots reviews we’ll take you through each of its features so you’re fully informed before you play!

We’ve all known a prissy princess or two in our lives, haven’t we? However, these don’t usually live in castles or medieval times. They’re usually in the house next door to ours or the daughter of one of our friends who we just want to strangle at times. Fortunately, this slot game, also known as Prissy Princess, takes the medieval route instead. This means that you’re not only able to see icons relating to such on the reels, but you’ll also be able to hear a nice piece of medieval music playing. This accompanies you wonderfully on your spinning journey. Down either side of the reels, you will be able to see towers. Obviously a part of the princess’s vast stone-built property. Further to this, there’s a treasure chest at the top of the reels with five padlocks on it. We’ll explain more about this in a little while. On the whole though, it utilises amazing graphics and gameplay.

Is the Prissy Princess the One for You?

The game itself offers up a general design of five reels and three rows altogether. This is quite a regular design for a video slot to undertake, so things should look instantly familiar. These reels contain the games range of different symbols as well. The first three of these are the valiant knight’s armour and weaponry. The shield with a gold ram emblazoned on it is the first of them. Following on from this you’ll see a breastplate and then a double flail for attacking his enemies with. Another shield is next in line, which features a unicorn as its picture. Then comes a pair of swords which are crossed over. Finally, you’ll also see the knight’s helmet as another symbol. Three additional picture icons exist in the game too. These are three knights who are all vying for the princess’s attention.

As well as its reels, rows and symbols, the Prissy Princess slot also provides players with 20 separate pay lines. These bet lines are not something that you can adjust in any way. However, you do have the chance to alter the wager that you place per spin. This is done easily enough with the scrolling bar which allows you to move between the minimum of $0.20 and the maximum of $100 per spin. You also have the option of setting an Auto Play function going. This gives you the chance to set the reels spinning up to 50 consecutive times at the same bet level. There are additional settings for the autoplay function as well, such as stopping if a single win exceeds a certain amount.

Which Knight Will Win Her Hand?

A game about three knights vying for the hand of a princess with such an attitude problem is a great theme. And Play’n Go know exactly how to work to its strengths. Therefore, a few special features can also be found in this game. To begin with, there’s the Crumbling Towers feature. At the completion of each spin, any reel containing part of a winning combination will collapse. This then sets the reels off re-spinning while all other reels are held in place. Essentially, you can bring new icons into the position of the ones you just won with. This provides you with the chance to win multiple times over from just a single wager.

There’s also the aforementioned Treasure Chest feature. If you go through the Crumbling Towers feature four times over, the contents of the chest will be shown. Every re-spin removes one of the padlocks and the reward inside the chest is random. This can be either three, five, 10, 25 or 100 times the total bet in play. Or, it can be two, three, four or five times the total win for the Crumbling Towers feature.

You’ll also find the game includes something known as the Dragon’s Breath feature. What would a medieval slot game be without a dragon, after all? This feature triggers at random when you spin a non-winning round. It sees the dragon fly across the reels and spew Wild Fire on up to three random icons. Wild Fire will substitute for all other icons on the reels, except for scatters.

This is not the final appearance of the dragon in this game though, because there’s the Dragon’s Pride feature. This ensures that a single Expanded Dragon Wild will appear on any reel containing any three knight icons. This again will stand in for any other symbol on the reels, with the exception of the scatter symbol.

You’ll also find a Tournament round is present in the game. This begins when the Crumbling Towers feature ends and all three of the game’s scatter icons are found. These are hung on the banner pole at the top right of the reels. In this round, you simply need to predict the winner amongst all of the competitors. If your knight wins the Princess’s hand, you can win up to 200 times your in-play bet.

And finally, there’s a standard wild icon in the game as well. This comes in the form of the princess herself. She stands in for all other icons on the reels to form a winning combination. Again, the only exceptions to this rule exist in the form of the scatter icons.

The Final Word

We never thought we’d find interest in a Prissy Princess. However, this Play’n Go slot is probably the only exception. It incorporates strong graphics and intriguing gameplay to begin with. However, its vast array of special features, especially the Crumbling Towers and Treasure Chest offerings, are also very entertaining.
