Slot Shack Casino Review

*This is one of the brands we used to feature on the site, however for whatever reason we no longer recommend it. We kept this old review but removed any direct links to the site and advise you to pick another brand from here.

Slot ShackWe live in an age where everything is being redefined and our perception of things is being dramatically changed. It’s not different with online casinos either. When you think of an online casino, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? A picture of the typical dark background and some flashy, red-gold lettering all around paints itself, right? Well, that’s not how it has to be anymore. In fact, Slot Shack demonstrates quite the different approach. Operated by Jumpman Gaming Ltd, Slot Shack first came to be in 2016 and it’s certainly something interesting to look at, if nothing else. This casino, though only recently established, offers a great choice of different games from some of the best providers out there.

When you first open the page, you won’t find the regular black or dark colored interface. Much on the contrary, a heavenly baby blue will be there to greet you. The first thing you will see is a pair of cartoonish palm trees on one side and a wooden shack that is in fact a slot machine. And all of this is standing atop a sparkling island of gold. Right in the middle is a ‘Join Now’ button and if you scroll down you will see a purple winner’s board, reminiscent of a surf board. Further down is a selection of the best new slots and beneath them you’ll find an introduction to the casino. A fixed menu bar at the top of the page will keep following you down, so you can conveniently login, register or go to any of the other page sections at any time.

Promotions

Slot Shack provides a number of attractive promotions, but they’re all within reason. Don’t expect to have gigantic bonuses raining on you, but do expect some decent rewards. First off is the casino’s Welcome Offer, which features 20 freespins on your first deposit of £20. The freespins are for the Fish and Chips slot machine. On top of that, though, you will also receive a 100% bonus for each of your first three deposits! To trigger the bonus your deposit will need to be of at least £10. So if you decide to take them up on the offer to the fullest, you can end up with a juicy £600 bonus and 60 freespins in total. Watch out for the bonus terms and conditions, though, they’re written in annoyingly fine print. Your freespins winnings will be credited to your bonus balance and are subject to wagering, just as the bonus amount. The wagering requirements are 65x your deposit amount + bonus balance.

Software and Game Selection

From the main menu you can go to All Games. Here you will find a list of the most popular slots. However, you can choose to sort the newest or by your personal favorites. For the last part you will need to have registered, though, and favorited some games. You can also select the list of all games to see the full selection. And if you would like to play a specific game, there’s a search bar you can use. Slot Shack offers games from a number of different software manufacturers. This includes the giants of the industry like NextGen and NetEnt. But there are also newer names like Eyecon Gaming and PariPlay.

Slot Shack offers currently about 150 different casino games and they are still adding more games to their selection. Among the most popular games are names like Foxin’ Wins, Starburst and the incredibly visually satisfying Gonzo’s Quest. You’re also in for other much favored games like Fluffy Favorites and Sugar Trains, to name a few. However, though there aren’t any progressive jackpots that this casino has to offer, they do have a little something else. Slot Shack has prepared a prize draw competition for when they reach 500 likes on Facebook. The prize is a fancy Outback Omega 250 2-Burner Gas BBQ, so if you’re interested you might want to hurry.

Banking

And here’s where it all gets real. The only currency available for deposit and withdrawal in the casino it GBP. The payment methods all include cards and these are the ones you may choose from: Visa Debit, Paysafe Card and many more. There are certain daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits to keep in mind. You may add up to three cards that have your name on them and the minimum deposit amount is £10. As for withdrawals, things are always a little trickier here. The minimum amount you can withdraw is £30 and you can only make two every 24 hours. Be patient, though, as they may take up to 48 hours to process. Important point: you will need to wager at least £100 before you can make your first withdrawal.

Licence

Shack Slot holds not one, but two licenses at once. One is from the UK Gambling Commission and the other – from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. This is to show that the casino can be trusted in terms of fair play, security and such. In case you aren’t familiar with any of these names, their logos are at the bottom of every page. You can click on them to visit their websites and read more about them. On the Terms & Conditions page you can find more details regarding license, ownership and regulations. In addition to this, the Privacy Policy page will inform you about the way the site ensures your security.

Contact Info & Social Activity

At the bottom of any page you can find the Contact Us section to find the contact details. However, Slot Shack doesn’t offer the typical live support you would probably expect from bigger casinos. They have taken an innovative approach to the support options they offer. Of course, there’s the regular email address, by which you can reach them: [email protected]. But they also provide a phone number, at which they are available weekdays from 9.30am to 6pm: 01481 700 103. Alternatively, you may leave a voice mail with your username and query. But better yet, you may message them via WhatsApp – not something everyone offers.

Slot Shack is also on social media, just as any modern business should be. You can navigate to their Facebook page by clicking on the respective icon on their website (see bottom). You can also reach them via Facebook, if you so choose, messaging options are available. However, the page doesn’t appear to be overly active. But that’s about it. You won’t find a FAQ section, which often proves to be very helpful. Like most casinos, though, they are open to affiliates and you will find the corresponding section at the bottom of any page.

Conclusion

After reviewing dozens of casinos I can tell Slot Shack definitely has room for growth and improvement, but seeing that it’s still basically in its infancy, that’s fine. We really like the design and admire the fact that the developers have gone off the beaten track with it. It’s fun, light and very modern. The bonuses this casino offers are also pretty attractive; however, the wager requirements are kind of on the higher side.
